Quad Biking on the set of Jurassic Park in Kualoa Ranch
Kualoa ranch will forever stay in my heart as the greatest place to explore on an ATV. We all love quad-biking right? You’re sitting on top of this extremely powerful machine where because it’s so light as soon as you accelerate even by a hairs length it jets you forward quick enough for you to pee yourself a little.
Okay maybe that might be a little dramatic, but quad-biking is pure, unadulterated fun, that we can all agree on! The only thing that improves quad-biking is the setting! I’ve quad-biked in the muddy hills in County Wexford with slopes and challenging hill climbs, and while drowning in mud is fun, quad biking on the set of Jurassic Park and hundreds of other movies for that matter, just about tops the list of best places to get your quad on!
One thing that the family, besides opening up their land to tourists, has done is make their land available for shooting films. Once you’re there it is easy to see why they rent the land out for movie shoots and why it is so popular. Nothing in this world can compare to the majesty of Kualoa Ranch and how jaw droppingly stunning it is. The best thing about Kualoa ranch in my opinion is the quad-biking and that’s why I chose it.
Not only did they promise to bring us to an iconic movie scene from Jurassic Park but also the site of where Godzilla was filmed as well as Along Came Polly. As landscapes go, Kualoa is genuinely the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to in my life. It is a huge valley that is covered in dense wildlife with ancient burial grounds of some of the earliest Polynesian settlers on the island. It is a truly majestic place that is worth every penny to go visit. It offers a rich experience to its visitors while preserving it’s natural beauty and heritage of the natives of Hawaii.
